With over 20 years of experience in the field of ophthalmology, I have had the privilege of helping countless patients achieve better vision and eye health. I specialize in a wide range of services, including cataract surgery, glaucoma management, cornea treatments, and diabetic retinopathy care. My goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized eye care to every patient who walks through our doors. Dr. Celia D. Chao, D.O.
Board-Certified Ophthalmologist & Owner of Sani Eye Center
Dr. Celia D. Chao, D.O. is a board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in comprehensive eye care, cataract surgery, glaucoma management, and complex ocular conditions. A familiar face to the Central Coast, she previously practiced with Sani Eye Center from 2020–2022 and is excited to return.
Dr. Chao is known for combining advanced surgical expertise with compassionate, personalized care. She speaks English, Mandarin, and ophthalmology-related medical Spanish. Outside the clinic, she enjoys California’s beaches and mountains, trail running, and spending time with her husband and their husky.
